Linux Reviews

I use Linux on the desktop and on the server and I'm always looking for new and upcoming distributions to test and evaluate. You might say that Linux is just Linux and that there aren't too much differences between the distributions that are available, but my experience is that each manufacturer puts in some nice touches of its own. And there's always the KDE / GNOME debate going on.

When reviewing a Linux distribution, I take screenshots of the installation process and some of the highlights of the desktop.

The distributions I've tested recently and wrote a review about are:

  • Linspire Five-O
An in-depth review of the Freespire edition of Linspire Five-O.

  • SuSE 9.3 FTP
Review of the SuSE 9.3 FTP Linux distribution.
